Moeller is the Runner Up

Massillon’s Kyle Young made one free throw with 3.6 seconds left to beat Moeller  39-38 in the Division I state championship victory at Schottenstein Center on 3/25/17.   Keegan McDowell and Miles McBride had 15 and 14 points for the Crusaders in their first loss of the season.  Moeller went 27-1 for the season.  A remarkable season.  Moeller head coach Carl Kremer planned to deny Young any opportunity to score….

Roger Bacon Loses in a Close One

After a bit of back and forth, the Roger Bacon boy varsity basketball team became the runner ups in the OHSAA championship game Saturday evening at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus.   The boys lost a close one 54-52 to Cleveland Villa Angela St Joseph.  This is VASJ’s 7th Division III Championship. On March 24th, at 2pm, the Roger Bacon varsity boys basketball team will attempt to take the next step in their long journey to a championship as they take on a top seeded Archibold team that went 22-5 on the season.
