Alpena Community College (ACC) is a two-year college located in Alpena, Michigan. It is a public institution that offers a variety of academic and career-oriented programs. ACC also offers a range of student activities, including sports. ACC is a member of the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) and is home to several intercollegiate sports teams. The college offers men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, softball, and volleyball. The teams compete at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II level. The men’s basketball team has won several NJCAA Division II Regional Championships and has made several appearances in the NJCAA Division II National Championship Tournament. The women’s basketball team has also won several NJCAA Division II Regional Championships and has made several appearances in the NJCAA Division II National Championship Tournament. The baseball team has won several NJCAA Division II Regional Championships and has made several appearances in the NJCAA Division II World Series. The softball team has also won several NJCAA Division II Regional Championships and has made several appearances in the NJCAA Division II World Series. The volleyball team has made several appearances in the NJCAA Division II National Championship Tournament and has won several NJCAA Division II Regional Championships. ACC also offers a variety of intramural sports, including basketball, volleyball, softball, and flag football. These teams compete against other teams from ACC and other local colleges. ACC is committed to providing its students with a well-rounded college experience. The college’s athletic programs provide students with the opportunity to compete and have fun while developing their skills and learning the importance of teamwork.
