Columbia International University

Columbia International University (CIU) is a private Christian university located in Columbia, South Carolina. Founded in 1923, CIU offers a range of undergraduate and graduate degrees, including programs in business, education, and counseling. In addition to its academic programs, CIU also has a strong athletics program, with teams competing in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA). The CIU Rams compete in six sports: men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s cross country, and men’s and women’s track and field. The Rams have had great success in recent years, winning the NCCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Championship in 2016 and 2017.
