Edmonds Community College in Lynnwood, WA is a great school for students looking to get a quality education while also participating in athletics. The college’s men’s basketball team is one of the most successful programs in the school’s history. The team has won the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) championship four times since its inception in 2005. The team has also made several appearances in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II National Tournament. The team’s current head coach, John Ostrom, has been at the helm since 2011 and has led the team to numerous successes. The women’s basketball team has also been successful in recent years, winning the NWAC championship in 2017 and 2018. The team is led by head coach Tia Jackson, who has been with the program since 2015. The team has made several appearances in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament and has consistently been ranked in the top 25 nationally. The college’s baseball and softball teams have also had a great deal of success in recent years. The baseball team has won the NWAC championship three times since 2005, and the softball team has won the NWAC championship four times since 2004. Both teams have made multiple appearances in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament. The college’s soccer program is relatively new, having been established in 2014. The team has had a great deal of success in its short history, winning the NWAC championship in 2017 and making several appearances in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament. The team is led by head coach Ryan McBride, who has been with the program since its inception.
