Friends University

Friends University, located in Wichita, Kansas, is a private university affiliated with the Quaker faith. Founded in 1898, the university offers a variety of academic programs, including undergraduate and graduate degrees in business, education, and the liberal arts. In addition to its academic offerings, Friends University is also home to a number of athletic programs. Friends University fields teams in several sports, including men’s and women’s basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis, and track and field. The school also fields a men’s baseball team and a women’s softball team. All of the university’s sports teams compete at the NCAA Division II level in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC). The Friends University Falcons are well known for their success in basketball. The men’s soccer team has also been successful, winning the KCAC championship in 2017. In addition to its varsity sports teams, Friends University also offers a variety of intramural sports. These include flag football, basketball, and volleyball, among others. The university also has a variety of club sports teams, including men’s and women’s lacrosse, rugby, and Ultimate Frisbee.
