Meridian Community College

Meridian Community College (MCC) is a two-year college located in Meridian, Mississippi. It is part of the Mississippi Community College System and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. MCC offers a wide range of academic programs, including Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees, as well as certificate and diploma programs. In addition to its academic programs, MCC also offers a variety of sports programs. The college has varsity teams in men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, softball, and volleyball. The college also has a competitive cheerleading squad. All of these teams compete in the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC). The MCC men’s basketball team has won the MACJC state championship three times in the last five years. The team has also won the NJCAA Region 23 championship twice in the same period. The women’s basketball team has won the MACJC state championship twice in the last five years and has made the NJCAA Region 23 tournament twice in the same period. The MCC baseball team has won the MACJC state championship four times in the last five years, and the softball team has won the MACJC state championship twice in the same period. The MCC volleyball team has made the MACJC tournament in each of the last five years. In addition to its varsity teams, MCC also offers a variety of intramural sports. These include flag football, basketball, volleyball, and softball. The college also offers a variety of recreational activities, such as golf, tennis, and swimming. At MCC, students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports and recreational activities. Whether they are looking to compete at the varsity level or just want to stay active and have fun, MCC has something for everyone.
