Ohio University-Lancaster (OU-L) is a regional campus of Ohio University located in Lancaster, Ohio. OU-L offers a variety of academic programs, including bachelor’s degrees in business, education, and social sciences. The campus also provides a variety of student activities and clubs, as well as a number of sports teams. OU-L’s athletic teams are known as the Ohio University-Lancaster Trailblazers and compete in the Ohio Regional Campus Conference (ORCC). The Trailblazers field teams in men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, and men’s and women’s volleyball. The Trailblazers also have a cheerleading team and a dance team. The Trailblazers have enjoyed success in the ORCC, having won the men’s basketball championship in 2019 and the women’s basketball championship in 2020. The men’s soccer team has also won multiple ORCC championships, and the women’s soccer team has won the ORCC championship in 2020. The Trailblazers have also had success in the Ohio Regional Campus Tournament, having won the men’s basketball tournament in 2018 and the women’s basketball tournament in 2019. OU-L’s athletic facilities include a gymnasium, a soccer field, and a track. The gymnasium is used for basketball and volleyball games, while the soccer field is used for soccer and the track is used for track and field events. OU-L’s athletic program provides students with an opportunity to participate in competitive sports and to develop their skills in a positive environment. The Trailblazers’ teams have a strong sense of camaraderie, and the coaches and staff are dedicated to helping the athletes reach their full potential.
