Southern University Shreveport (SUSLA) is an historically black college located in Shreveport, Louisiana. Established in 1967, the university is a member of the Southern University System and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. At SUSLA, students can choose from a variety of academic programs. These include associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in fields such as business, engineering, education, nursing, and more.
