Xavier University – New Orleans, LA

Xavier University of Louisiana is a private, historically black Catholic university located in New Orleans, Louisiana. Founded in 1925 by Saint Katharine Drexel and the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament, Xavier is the only Catholic HBCU (Historically Black College or University) in the United States.
